Location Information

To help you find nearby food trucks, we collect:

• Precise location data (only when you grant permission)
• General location based on IP address
• Saved addresses for favorite locations

Device Information

We automatically collect certain device information:

• Device type and operating system
• Unique device identifiers
• Mobile network information
• App version and usage statistics

With Food Truck Vendors

We share order details, your name, and contact information with vendors to fulfill your orders.

With Service Providers

We work with trusted third parties including:

• Square for payment processing
• Twilio for SMS notifications
• AWS for cloud hosting and storage
• Intercom for customer support
• PostHog for product analytics
• Sentry for error monitoring

For Legal Reasons

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

Third-Party Data Deletion

When you delete your account, we also request deletion of your data from our third-party service providers including Square, Intercom, PostHog, and Sentry. Note that Twilio (SMS provider) requires a manual support request for data deletion, which we will submit on your behalf.

You can access and update your personal information through your account settings.

Location Permissions

You can control location sharing through your device settings. Note that disabling location may limit certain features.

Marketing Communications

You can opt out of promotional emails and SMS messages through your account settings or by following unsubscribe instructions.

Data Export (Portability)

You have the right to download a copy of your personal data in a portable JSON format. This includes:

• Saved preferences and favorites

Account Deletion

You have the right to delete your account at any time. Here's how our deletion process works:

• Self-Service: Request deletion directly through the app or vendor dashboard
• 14-Day Grace Period: After requesting deletion, you have 14 days to change your mind and cancel
• Cancellation: During the grace period, you can cancel your deletion request at any time
• Completion: After 14 days, your account and personal data will be permanently deleted

Note: Deletion may be temporarily blocked if you have active orders in progress.

Active Accounts

While your account is active, we retain your personal information to provide our Services.

After Account Deletion

When you delete your account:

• Deleted immediately: Profile information, saved addresses, favorites, authentication credentials, device tokens
• Anonymized and retained: Order history (for financial/legal compliance) - your name is replaced with "[DELETED]" and phone number is removed
• Photos: Photos you uploaded to food truck feeds remain visible but are no longer associated with your identity

Legal Requirements

We may retain certain information as required by law, including:

• Financial transaction records (6-7 years for tax and legal compliance)
• Records necessary for fraud prevention or legal proceedings
